The council forms a committee to improve Jubail’s businesses sector’s performance
A number of Jubail businessmen has commended the role of Asharqia chamber business council in Jubail. And they called for more effective initiatives, that leads to a greater involvement of the council in the economic and social live in the region. The monthly Tuesday meeting which was held in the branch’s head office on Tuesday eve, 7 September 2015, has commended the new formation of the business council in the jubail branch, and asserted that they are hoping for effective development in the sector’s performance. They are looking forward to more effort to develop the economical activity in the area, and grow in all the economic areas such as commerce, tourism and industry. They had explained that Jubail is one of the most important cities in Saudi when it comes to the economic value. It contains a large number of huge projects on an international scale, thus, the chances for investment and participation for businessmen, especially young businessmen are very promising. Therefore, we put our hope in this business council and the chamber’s branch to activate these efforts to achieve the largest yield, they had asserted on the importance of the communication and cooperation between the businessmen in the council, assuring that it will have positive results on the economic situation in general.
The Jubail branch’s business council had finished its first meeting after the new formation, and Mushari ibn murshed Al-Oqaili has been chosen as president for Jubail business council, and engineer Fawaz ibn Faleh Al-Hajiri as vice president. The first meeting has been held shortly after that and the new plan for the council for 2015-2016 has been reviewed and discussed, which included the events and programs that the council plans to fulfill during this period. The participants agreed on forming a team under the name “studying and tracing”, it was assigned the role of forming a business plan for the council, to be discussed in the next meeting for the council. The members have expressed their anticipation for more programs and events sponsored by the Chamber, represented by its business council. Moreover, they asserted that despite the vast industrial development in the region, there are plenty of investment opportunities yet to be utilized, such as secondary industries, transportation and supplying, importing and exporting and construction.
