Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz (Governor of the Eastern Region), Asharqia Chamber in cooperation with Dhahran International Exhibitions Company (Dhahran Expo) will organize the 2018 Jobs Fair during the period (22-25/ Oct/2018).
The 2018 Job Fair is attracting a significant number of companies and institutions to participate in the region's premier employment event.
The sixth edition of the exhibition, which is held at Dhahran Expo, received the attention of companies, institutions and governmental and private entities that are concerned with the development of human resources, which began to reserve their places in the exhibition in preparation for participation.
The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber of Commerce Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi appreciated the patronage of His Highness the Prince of the Eastern Region and His Highness's interest in this occasion and other events of Asharqia Chamber as well. This confirms the keenness of His Highness to support all that would develop human competencies and achieve their participation in the development and comprehensive development witnessed by the country in all areas, especially in the economic field.
Al-Khalidi said that this edition of the exhibition, which is held at this time of each year, aims to support efforts to settle jobs in the private sector, to highlight the role of the business sector in attracting national talent, and providing job opportunities for Saudi youth, to achieve communication between the business sector on the one hand, and the providers of training and employment services and specialists in the management of human resources and employment on the other hand, and between these bodies and third-party job seekers.
He pointed out that this exhibition is an important channel for job seekers that open the way for national talent, which is looking for job opportunities to highlight their talents, to spread their creativity, to achieve their personal aspirations, and to supports our endless and limitless choices of development.
He stressed that the human element is the basis in this country, regardless of his job location and place of work.
The 2017 Jobs Fair, which was organized by the Chamber last year, recorded a visit to more than 20 thousand applicants for work, amid the great interest of participating companies and beneficiaries.
The number of participants in the exhibition was about 138 companies and institutions provided more than 7 thousand jobs.
It also witnessed the participation of prominent government agencies such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Human Resources Development Fund, and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.
