Investment challenges at the table of specialists in the "Qatif Investment Forum 2019"
The Qatif Investment Forum 2019 reviews a number of topics that discuss enhancing the attractiveness of investment and available opportunities in the Qatif Governorate, during the forum activities held by the Eastern Chamber under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Prince Faisal Center Bin Fahd for occasions, in Saihat.
The Chairman of the East Council Chamber of Commerce in the Qatif Governorate, Abdul-Mohsen bin Abdul Majeed Al Faraj, said that the Saudi Aramco companies and the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and the General Authority for Entertainment are participating in the forum, and the Social Development Bank and the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority are also participating in the forum’s scientific program, describing the large addition to the forum.
Al-Faraj said that the forum will provide a natural picture of the reality of investment in Qatif, the available investment opportunities and challenges faced by the business sector with the participation of major companies, in addition to the support provided by the Social Development Bank and support entities, especially those related to supporting small projects, which will be provided by specialists in the "facilities".
Al-Faraj pointed out that the Qatif Governorate is characterized by a set of specifications that make it a fertile oasis for investment, perhaps the most prominent of which is the geographical location between the administrative capital of the eastern region (Dammam) and the Saudi industrial castles (in Jubail and Ras al-Khair), and this matter includes areas of work in the commercial and logistical areas And industrial, and so on, as well as the view of preserving the Persian Gulf and the implications for this matter of activities in activities directly related to the sea, such as fishing, tourism, trade, and so on.
Al-Faraj concluded by saying that the work prospects are wide, and the investment fields in Qatif Governorate are many and varied, supported by the government's approach to diversifying sources of income, improving the investment environment, and attracting local and foreign investments.
