Asharqia Chamber introduces (Maher) program today morning
Under the patronage of His Excellency Minister of Labor Adel Faqih
Under the patronage of His Excellency Minister of Labor Eng. Adel Bin Mohammad Faqih ,Asharqia Chamber will launch the induction of (Maher) program today Wednesday 1 June, 2011 implemented by Human Resources Development Fund and King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (as one of the educational and training institutions cooperates with the Fund in implementing of this program), which will be held at the chamber in Dammam.
“Maher" program is fully funded by the HRDF and is designed to address specifically the needs of the Saudi work place and the knowledge and skills of a targeted group of students. The program bridges the knowledge and skills required by the work place in a comprehensive way and in a relatively short period of time.
Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al-Rashid pointed out that the King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals was one of the first educational and training institutions that have participated strongly in (Maher) program aims to qualify national cadres work in many professions required for the labor market
Al-Rashid pointed to the Joint Council between the Chamber and KFUPM which recommended to share this experience carried out by the University in this regard to include the participation of other institutions to introduce the program in coordination with the Human Resources Development Fund.
