Forum of Corporate Governance in Family Business reviews trends of family business

Under the patronage of Chairman of the Capital Market Authority Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Tuwaijri who will launch the events of (Forum of Corporate Governance in Family Businesses) organized by Asharqia Chamber on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the chamber headquarter in Dammam.
In this regard the Head of the Institute of Directors of the GCC, Dr. Abdullah Al-Abdulqader said that (Forum of corporate governance in family business), which is organized by the Chamber in cooperation with the Institute of Directors of the GCC under the patronage of Chairman of the Capital Market Authority Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Tuwaijri on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the chamber headquarter in Dammam will review the new family business trends towards openness and rejection of old policies that favor more secure, which will be paid to the great strides in the future and invites them to achieve this success applying the principles of corporate governance and transparency in the management to get excellent results.
In this regard said Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel that the forum will discuss several challenges faced by the boards of directors in family businesses, Analyzing the impact of governance on the family businesses activity, Studying the economic importance of family businesses in the Kingdom, Studying the fundamental aspects of the applying the corporate governance in family business, Analyzing the obstacles facing the application of corporate governance in family businesses and Reviewing the experiences of some countries and make use of them in the application of governance.
