Forum of Corporate Governance in Family Business

Under the patronage of the CMA Chairman Dr. Abdulrahman Al Tuwajri;Asharqia Chamber is launching forum of  (Corporate Governance in Family Busniess) on Tuesday, 10th May, 2011 at the Chamber headquarter in Dammam.
 
In response of this event; Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Rashed who said that the forum will highlights the importance of governance of family businesses, and its economic and legal  impact also its mechanism.
 
Al Rashed explained that the forum will review the future of family businesses under applying the governance standards in addition to the role of governance in maintaining the continuity and growth of family businesses in light of current economic challenges ;also to educate businessmen of family businesses about the importance of applying rules of governance and to clarifies it.

Al Rashed also  highlighted that forum will shed light on some topics as studying the economic importance of family business in the Kingdom and analyzing the impact of governance on the family businesses activity..Also discussing the obstacles facing the application of corporate governance in family businesses.

Under the patronage of Chairman of the Capital Market Authority Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Tuwaijri  who will launch the events of (Forum of Corporate Governance in Family Businesses) organized by Asharqia Chamber on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the chamber headquarter in Dammam.
 
In this regard said Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al-Rashid that forum will highlights the importance of governance of family businesses, and its economic and legal impact also its mechanism.
 
Adding  that the forum will discuss several challenges faced by the boards of directors in family businesses, Analyzing the impact of governance on the family businesses activity, Studying the economic importance of family businesses in the Kingdom, Studying the fundamental aspects of the applying the corporate governance in family business, Analyzing the obstacles facing the application of corporate governance in family businesses and Reviewing the experiences of some countries and make use of them in the application of governance.
