Eastern region governor sponsors Asharqia chamber annual reception

His Royal Highness, Prince Saud bin Nayef Abdulaziz the Governor of the Eastern Province will sponsor Asharqia chamber yearly reception on November 17, 2015. The reception will be held in the Sheraton’s largest conventions hall. A large number of the Asharqia chamber subscribers, business leaders, a number of government officials in the eastern region, and some representatives of foreign embassies and consulates in Saudi Arabia as well as a number of the notable media and culture men, will attend this reception. Abdulrahman ibn Saleh Al-Otaishan, chairman of Asharqia chamber of commerce, said that this sponsorship of his royal highness has added to the importance of this event and made all the more significant. It further confirms the Prince's direct support to the private sector, and reflects his appreciation to the role of the sector in contributing to the Eastern Province, especially in contributing to the society and the country.
He explained that the value of this annual meeting is that it creates and opportunity for everyone involved in the meeting to communicate. The presence of His Highness is considered as a prominent feature of this ceremony, as well as an opportunity to strengthen the government's efforts in supporting the business sector, and the private sector projects.
Al-Otaishan said that Asharqia chamber has been progressing in calculated and organized steps to develop services for its subscribers, especially to protect the businessmen interests, and the interests of the private sector in general. In this context, the chamber has made many achievements, including expanding, by establishing many branches of the chamber, in Jubail, Qatif and Khafji. Also, establishing modern buildings for the headquarters of these branches. In addition, the establishment of many private service centers in many cities across the region, all the way to our services to the chamber subscribers and participants in most of the provinces and cities of the eastern region, as well as developing these services. He called businessmen of the chamber subscribers to participate in the event, stressing that it is a great opportunity for interaction between the private sector and the society’s slices, and to communicate with senior officials in the region, directors of government agencies, and officials from the private sector.
For his part, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, General Secretary of the Chamber said that this annual reception is one of the many activities organized by the Chamber. It stems from the chamber’s keenness to deepen the ties and social relations between the chamber’s subscribers the businesses sector, and between representatives of government departments and private sector representatives. He added that this event stresses on the importance of interaction between the Chamber and all parties in the region. It assures the significance of communication between the chamber its subscribers from businessmen who have proven their presence is always at the heart of issues of the region and the aspirations of its people, it has been proven to be positive and vital.
