Dr.Khawla Alkuraya a guest of honor and speaker in the annual ceremony

Asharqia Chamber receives Dr.Khawlah Al Kuraya ,A Scientist; Granted First Rank King Abdulaziz Medal on Saudi female scientist, Principal clinical scientist at the King Faisal Hospital and Research Center and Director of the Department of Human Cancer Genomic Research in Riyadh ,Dr.Khawlah Sami Al Kuraya will be the a guest of honor and speaker at the annual reception ceremony for businesswomen organized by the Chamber on Wednesday evening 1st of December corresponding to (25 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1431 H) under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Jawahir Bint Nayef bin Abdulaziz, wife of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Eastern region.
Asharqia Chamber Acting Secretary-General Abdulrahman Al Wabel explained that the participation of Dr. Khawlah in the Female annual reception as the guest of honor come under the chamber interest in all Saudi elite, referring to Her Royal Highness care and support with all scientists and researchers in Saudi Arabia and the Eastern region, in the annual reception in particular, and in all women's activities organized by the chamber, and the businesswomen center in particular.
Al Wabel also added that this approach adopted by the Chamber, involves the activation of the objectives and strategic themes of the chamber board, starting from the social responsibility concept , pointing out that the annual ceremony for businesswomen, this year, will be held for the third time respectively.
It is noteworthy that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has conferred the prestigious “First Rank King Abdulaziz Medal” on Saudi female scientist Dr. Khawla Al-Kuraya in recognition of her achievements in science that have made her a prominent international figure in cancer research. Besides being a member of the College of American Pathologists, she is also a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the US and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the American Society of Human Genetics, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
