Delegation of German-Arab Friendship Association visiting East Camber
The Secretary General of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel received on Monday 21 October 2013 German Arabic Friendship Association delegation led by Vice-President Professor Randolph rodnshtok at the Chamber main headquarters in Dammam. They exchanged during the meeting which saw the presence of retired Ambassador Jürgen Stelzer, Director General of the German Arabic friendship society, Andreas hergnrotr, the German Commissioner for industry and commerce on the methods of transfer of cultural foundations for economic cooperation between Germany and the Arabic States, by visiting delegations of German and Arabic Friendship Society organized for investors in the Arab world to get local impression of major investment opportunities in Germany.
The meeting also reviewed the economic potential of Saudi Arabia being the largest economy in the Arab world as the petrochemical manufacturing industry are the focus of industrial policy, and East is the largest region in terms of area in the Kingdom, Saudi oil industry centers include the Center for oil company (Saudi Aramco) Saudi basic industries Corporation (SABIC). The eastern region comprises ' KAAP ' which is one of the most important ports for the export of oil and gas in the world and the region's third largest international airport in Saudi Arabia which populated the area to be a centre of logistics services in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
