Declaration of the elections instructions and controls for the Chamber members
Eastern Chamber determines contractors & real estate elections on Tuesday
Asharqia Chamber has completed all elections preparations, for the trade and industry committees, construction and real estate committees on next Tuesday and Wednesday.
By this step the Chamber has completed the final phase of forming thecommittees, the election phase to choose members from the subscribers list, of whom more than 700 people competing for membership on the 22 committees.
Chamber General Secretary, Mr. Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaim said that they will end the procedures for setting up the committees (real estate, industrial, construction, and commercial) and will invite applicants for membership of the four committees, which exceeded the number of candidates to the maximum allowed at each committee of 25 membersز
AlNuaim explained that elections of construction and real estate committees will be on Tuesday at 12:30, while trade and industrial committees elections will be held will be held on Wednesday, as Saad Al-Mujil Hall at the chamber will held these elections which is the first of its kind for the Eastern Chamberز
AlNuaim noted that chamber has issued the instructions for the requirements for participation in the elections and urged on the need of (Chamber stamp and the employee signature on the election card.
Elections also included instructions, not to repeat the nomination of a candidate more than once in one ticket, with right to vote down the nomination in the absence of his presence.
Also not to write or put any indication or sign of the voter identity , the voter is not allowed to cast his vote more than once in any single election and the election will take a half hour,and will not add any voting paper at the closing, as they will sort the cards and announce the results within one hour.
In the situation of a tie in the votes of the candidates there will be an immediate draw, and when a withdrawal of one of the candidates, the next candidate will be taken, who is followed by the number of voters.
The Chamber in the last two weeks has opened registration for membership of 22 specialized committees have been identified in sectors operating in the market, and distributed to various departments of the Chamber, and has seen strong demand which exceeded 700 candidates.
