In cooperation with Tarkiz Management and Financial Consultancy, Asharqia Chamber would hold a workshop on corporate governance and legal forms.
On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in cooperation with Tarkiz Management & Financial Consultancy (a local expert house), Asharqia Chamber will organize a workshop on the governance and legal forms of small and medium enterprises. The workshop would be at the headquarter of the Chamber, at 9:30 am. It would be presented by the Legal Advisor, Dr. Omar Nabil Al-Sunaid.
The workshop will discuss a range of topics related to the governance of small and medium-sized family businesses by explaining the pros and cons of governance applications in these companies as well as the differences between corporate governance, family governance, and implementation mechanisms, with a statement of the best legal entities appropriate to governance.
Al Khalidi stressed the importance of following the application of governance as a safe approach that takes companies, whatever their size, to progress, sustainability, and smooth transition across generations. He noted the importance of improving the financial and organizational performance within companies. He pointed out that employees are able to add value to the sustainability of their companies when the principles of governance become realistic in front of their eyes.
AlKhalidi pointed to the role of Asharqia Chamber in educating family business owners and providing them with serious treatments for their development, growth, and sustainability. It is done through a series of awareness and advisory programs, such as the Family Business Consultancy Program, which recently resumed its meetings and provides free consultation throughout the year, in cooperation with local and international expert houses. These programs were created to the family business owners in an effort to help them overcome the challenges of Transformation and the governance applications in their companies.
