On Monday December 31, 2018, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Contracting Committee, signed a Cooperation Agreement with Tsrmeem Charity, which is concerned with the reconstruction of the homes of needy and low-income families.
The agreement comes within the activities of the Contracting Committee for 2018 and is the latest activities of the Committee for this year.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Chamber's Chairman, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, the Chairman of the Contracting Committee and Board Member, Hamad Bin Hamoud Al Hammad, and the Board Member Nasser bin Rashid Al Bajash.
The Chamber was represented by its Secretary-General, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, and Tarmeen Charity was represented by the Executive Director, Ali Al-Asmari.
The Chairman of the Chamber AlKhalidi said that the Convention is an important step for cooperation and promote joint work between the Chamber and the Charity in a number of axes such as urging enterprises and contracting companies in the region to supply their surplus of health and building materials to the Charity, and also enable them to benefit from the lecture rooms in the Chamber to establish its activities, as well as stimulating the business sector in the Eastern region to play its role in social responsibility to participate in solving the suffering of families in need to restore their homes to ensure them a decent life in a safe environment and to the benefit to the community.
He stressed the importance of the Community solidarity as a value of the values of our religion.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Tarmeem Charity that works in the Restoration of Old Houses in the Eastern Region, which despite its recent inception, it has made a significant presence in the region and has become an important figure among charities in the region.
Hamad bin Hamoud al-Hammad, the Chairman of the Contracting Committee and board member, said that the Committee is committed to providing distinguished services through programs of a developmental nature whose mission is to spread the culture of social responsibility in the contracting sector to make it a reality.
He calls on the contractors to cooperate with Tarmeem Charity to stimulate their social and charitable roles.
