In a meeting on Tuesday
in the branch of Asharqia Chamber in
Qatif.
The
manager of the Field Safety Center in
the Department of Civil Defense in Qatif, Captain Sami Al Thubaiti, said that
the electronic services by civil defense departments have shortened the time for
the institutions, so that the applicant can obtain an "immediate"
permit if the requirements available and he can get his permission through his mobile phone,
or from his home, without any visit.
This
was
in the Tuesday meeting in Asharqia branch in Qatif (Tuesday, 18 April
2017). Capt. Al Thubaiti explained that the immediate statement mentioned above
is for establishments with less than 100 square meters. They are the most civil
defense agents, the link between civil defense and other relevant bodies such
as the Ministry of Trade and Investment, and municipal and rural affairs, then
the documentary cycle will not be long, and this will be done very soon.
He
stated that the electronic registration process gives the beneficiary a special
number which he can use for any renewal or other permission. This number means
registration in Salama in all of its facilities will be linked to this number,
all he has to do is to define the type and location of the event.
He
added that through the electronic registration, the beneficiary knows all the
requirements that have to be provided in
the establishment, no need to visit the Department of Civil Defense, then the
visit is determined on the field where the administration assumes that the
beneficiary has all the requirements,
He
pointed that the institutions with an area of more than 100 square meters,
the system requires the referral of the institution to an institution of safety
approved and subjected to the supervision and follow up the civil defense,
where he finds a list of institutions on the site.
