Asharqia Chamber Board of Directors approved at a meeting held yesterday, Monday, December 27, 2010 the operating budget and operational plan for next year 2011 which is the second strategic plan of the Board through its sixteenth session, consistent in turn with the Ninth Development Plan of the country during the period 1431 1436.
During the meeting of the Executive Committee for 2011 under the chairmanship of Board Chairman Abdulrahman bin Rashed Al-Rashed and the Vice-President Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Ammar and Fahad Bin Abdullah Al Shuraya ,and memberes of Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Jumaih, Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Sayed,Abdullah bin Ali Al-Majdouie and Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Zamil.
Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman Bin Rashed Al-Rashed who indicated during the meeting the reviewing of all the terms of the plan from Strategic objectives of the chamber to be implemented by next January, taking in consideration the implementation of the chamber directions and highlighting the application of quality standards for continuous improvement in the development of chamber services provided for all members and business sector, turning them into reality can be projected.
Expecting the completion of 9 studies and 14 working papers on different economic issues, along with organizing 4 economical seminar, during which discuss issues of national economy in general and the business sector in the Eastern Region. In addition to issuance and distributing reports on international promising markets.
And expanding the network of local relationships, regional and international level to highlight the role of the chamber globally, parties and bodies and relevant organizations through the participation of businessmen in the region in trade delegations to various countries.
In this regard, the Chamber is working on the implementation of Phase II and III of the electronic program, within the quality standards achieved by the Chamber in the previous years, and continue working on this level of achievement.
As for the next year, Chamber attempts to continue the various training programs, by implementing 52 software and training courses, including courses carried out in the branches of Jubail ,Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Qatif, AND Al-Khafji, and continue it Awareness programs to promote a culture of self-employment among young businessmen of evenings, lectures, and public lectures, as well as to continue to provide legal advicesand services for visitors either by phone or by personal attendance, or electronic communications.
Also adopting to continue the support of social projects of public and private, and to contribute in solving the problem of unemployment by providing job opportunities for young Saudi of both genders.
According to the plan, the Chamber also intends to implement the 200 meetings periodically in which discusses many economic issues of interest to the business sector, in addition to developing the sector of small and medium enterprises and increase its contribution to GDP.
Nonetheless; the new year plan also works to solve the problem of unemployment in the Kingdom through the development of the chamber employment system in order to achieve the main objective of training programs for job seekers and to provide training opportunities and finally the adoption of projects directed to the community to serve the people of the region and achieving social development through supporting of private and public institutions and participation in social events.
