AlKhalidi appreciates the patronage of His Highness of the exhibition, which is an important step to support the national transformation project in the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
On Monday 22 October, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, prince of the Eastern Province, inaugurated the 6th edition of Jobs Fair 2018, which is organized by Asharqia Chamber in partnership with Dhahran Expo Company. The Job Far will continue until Thursday 25 October 2018 at Dhahran Expo. A large number of establishments concerned with resettlement, training and Saudization participated in the event.
The exhibition also witnessed great interest as 10,000 visitors registered for a job opportunity within two days.
The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi stressed that the large turnout witnessed by the exhibition is a clear and strong evidence of the keenness of young people to work, and search for opportunities suited to their qualifications and aspirations. He pointed out that the exhibition has received many job seekers who hold higher degrees for important fields.
The exhibition was attended by a large number of job seekers, as the companies received a group of young people who have studied important majors in Saudi universities as well as foreign universities, which are commensurate with what is posed in the labor market and represents the need of companies.
In the same context, a workshop was held on Tuesday on the sidelines of the exhibition in cooperation with the Human Resources Fund, entitled "Methods of job search" that shows the most important factors that should be in the job seekers when looking for the opportunity that is expected to fit their qualifications. There are many effective ways to get a job, if you are looking for a job for the first time, or want to return to the job market after an absence, or even want to change your career, you must first understand yourself and your needs, then understand the labor market. One of the important methods is to review the CV, before you start looking for a job; you must make sure that the CV is complete and updated.
It is an important way to show who you are, where you come from, what you can offer, and that honesty must be taken into account so that its consequences are not bad in the long term and perhaps near. It is also important to check that the CV is free of typographical errors and misspellings. The simplest mistakes can have a negative impact on the look of your employer. The applicant should be careful about the job of being a coordinator and its overall shape is as important as the content of the biography itself.
The workshop highlighted the importance of the readiness of the job seeker to talk about himself if asked to do so. The person authorized to meet you wants to calm your nerves, and also wants to understand your background, your achievements, the reasons why you want to work for the company, and your future goals, and all of these things must be well prepared.
In conclusion, the applicants must write a list of skills related to the work that will be presented to him, which will need to develop or acquire. The employer will be interested in hearing the methods by which he intends to be a successful employee. So think about the skills that will help you to qualify for the position you want to access, as well as make sure to acquire books to evolve from yourself and increase your knowledge.
On Wednesday October 24, 2018 at Dhahran Exhibitions, a workshop entitled "Personal Interview Skills" will be held at 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
The exhibition is witnessing the participation of some prominent government bodies such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the Human Resources Development Fund.
The importance of the exhibition is evident in three main areas, the first is the companies, which have some difficulties in attracting the national workforce, as they will find it at this exhibition.
The second is the qualified youth with scientific and practical skills. The exhibition offers them several options for applying these skills and applying them within appropriate work ranges.
And then the third and last party is represented in the intermediate institutions that conduct training and education and coordinate the relationship between the employee and the employer, and through the exhibition, it can provide all its services and bids.
The result is the achievement of communication between the three parties, which is reflected in the status of the local labor market, which is large and growing.
The exhibition includes a number of career opportunities in different fields, where jobs were reserved for men in the following specializations (837 in sales), (500 administrative), (2000 technical), (115 medical), (745 engineering) and (605 others).
