Businesswomen center of Asharqia Chamber achieved exponentially growing in the completion rate for the most important activities and programs within the annual plan as reviewed in the booklet that includes a presentation of the achievements of the Centre entitled "contributions and achievements."
In monthly meeting in first Tuesday in the month, the Centre organized 11 meetings, attended by a group of government officials and business women, on topics and issues of concern to businesswomen in the Eastern Region. The Centre organized 4 lectures about the dangers of mobile phone, diseases of children, and procedures for the Ministry of Labour in the service of business men and women. The Centre also organized 8 visits to government agencies and corporate bodies.
In Activating of the memorandum of understanding signed by the Chamber to collaborate with Okaz Club in 2009 to establish a Universal toustmasters club (the art of public speaking in English),performance of the club continued during the year 2011, capacity development rhetoric and communication skills, both for the members or the guests. 21 meetings of the club Were held with attendance of speaker for the presence of women leaders who have experience in public speaking and communication skills and presentation, benefited from these meetings about 214 women.
The small and medium enterprises unit provided 7 qualifying sessions for women are willing to enter the business, in collaboration with (the unit of Social Responsibility in the National Bank ) to help entrepreneurs in small and medium businesses to start, and for follow step by step, under the supervision of qualified trainers. The benefiting projects were added to the chamber's web site and Facebook page , 28 projects were added , taking advantage of marketing and products contribute to support the ladies.
The development of small and medium-sized establishments unit collaborated with Abdul Latif Jameel programs - Community Service Unit, to provide recommendations for women who want to finance, in order to facilitate interviews for female applicants for programs for funding, and evaluation of feasibility study for their businesses, (22) recommendations were presented with the amount of (3.000.535 riyals)
The Council of young businesswomen continued the activities , in the programs I am able (ana aqder), (Diwaniyah), and (tamkeen), and (rowwad).
And organized The chamber organized Youth businessmen and women Forum represented by the Council of young businessmen and women of Eastern region (our youth ... an ambitious and successful) during the period of December 12 to 14, 2011 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz,prince of the Eastern Province in the presence of about 4000 of entrepreneurs men and women .
From the achievements of the Executive Board of the Business Women held a workshop "the diversity of investment opportunities in the Saudi market," and a workshop "Future Vision for Women in Business" in order to extract the most important difficulties faced by women entrepreneurs with government agencies and vote on the most important difficulties that require priority of the solution, and propose applicable solutions.
Also the center organized many important events throughout the year, to serve business women especially and women in the eastern region in general, hundreds of women and girls from the people of the region were involved.
