Asharqia chamber of commerce discusses corporate transparency and competitiveness
Asharqia chamber will organize a workshop titled “competitiveness and transparency in the business sector”. This workshop as a collaboration between the resettlement and investment center and the pearl initiative. The workshop would be held in the chamber headquarter in Dammam.
AbdulRahman A. Al-Wabel, General Secretary of Asharqia chamber said that this workshop which will be open to males and females on Sunday, September the 13th of 2015, from 10 to 12 in the afternoon. The workshop will be an open discussion between experts and business leaders, to share their experiences, points of view and opinions that support cultivating the business sector and reassuring an economic sustainability. Asharqia chamber has allocated Almojol hall for male participants and Aljazeera hall for female participants.
Al-Wabel explained that this workshop targets executive directors in public and private companies, as well as family businesses, and governmental organizations and establishments. It will discuss many topics, amongst which is the necessity of developing their performance when it comes to governance and risk management, as well as following policies and bylaws and transparency inside the establishment. The workshop has also discussed extending such practices to the importers and business partners, and spreading this transparency approach in Saudi, GCC and globally.
