Asharqia chamber continue the efforts to organizes the productive families fair under the title “my trade”
Asharqia chamber holds its first meeting as part of productive families’ fair 2015 preparations
Asharqia chamber held its first meeting to discuss productive families fair. His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif, governor of the Eastern province, is sponsoring productive families 2015 fair, which is organized by Asharqia chamber of commerce in cooperation with Dhahran Exhibitions company. The fair will be held during the period between the 15th to 19 December 2015 on Dhahran exhibition’s location in AlRakah.
Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, applauded his highness sponsorship, asserting that it adds up to the value of this initiative. He pointed out that many preparations had taken place to assure that this fair is a success. He mentioned that this fair aims to support small businesses, promote entrepreneurialism and self-employment, as well as private businesses. It also aims to cooperate with all the organizations that provide productive families with services, as well as preserve the Saudi heritage through promoting traditional handicrafts, and produce a marketing guide for productive families. All those goals are considered a step towards community development.
He asserted that organizing such events is within the chamber’s efforts to support all projects and businesses as well as fighting unemployment, and providing Saudi youth with job opportunities. Supporting Saudi productive families will have social and economic impact on the society. Thus, it falls under the chamber’s social responsibility on one hand, and the fact that the chamber is an investment force that can contribute to the national economy and encourage the Saudi youth creative business ideas. He hoped that this fair will be a success, and that it achieve all its intended goals to support and promote productive families and their products. He pointed out that this fair is a continuation of the chamber’s efforts to support productive families given their role as an economic force that could be utilized to benefit the society as well as working as a source of income to those families. The chamber’s other supporting activities are providing the families with the needed training and workshops in collaboration with some foundations and other supportive entities.
The meeting discussed various points, which are supposed to make this fair a success. In addition, it discussed in details all the wings that will be there, and their functions, as well the organizations that will participate in it. It was mentioned that many workshops would be conducted during the fair as part of its activities. Each participating family will receive a contact card to market their products and the outstanding families will receive certificates.
