In a recent meeting, the Asharqia Work Force Committee said that a Human Resources degree program should be added to the curriculum of Saudi Universities instead of simply being taught as a part of other degree courses. The committee affirmed that the most modern universities have Human Resources degree programs.
The committee, chaired by Saalih Al-Humaydaan, also discussed how Human Resources Development can help improve the advancement opportunities of a number of employees who did not complete University studies due to extenuating circumstances.
The committee also dicussed the need to train Human Resources personnel through a cooperative effort between various training institutes, The Public Foundation for Employment and Technical Training, and the private sector. The committee encouraged this idea as a way to successfully train and employ Saudi youth that should be supported by everyone.
