Asharqia Chamber signs an agreement with the Franchise Association to promote the franchise sector
Asharqia Chamber has concluded a cooperation agreement with the Franchise Association aimed at enhancing cooperation and joint work between the Chamber and the Association, intending to promote the franchise industry to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, and the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Lawyer Khalid bin Amin Youssef, in the presence of the Association’s Board Member Faisal Al-Khalidi, the Chamber’s Board Member Saadoun bin Khalid Al-Atish Al-Khalidi and the Chamber’s Secretary-General Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel.
Al-Khalidi stressed that the Chamber, through its support for the business sector, integrates with various parties to cover many aspects involved in the work of the disciplines required in the market, to provide information, guidance, direction, and support with the participation of a group of experts and specialists.
Al-Khalidi said that the agreement came to develop a cooperation mechanism with all parties in the Kingdom to help them achieve their goals to support and develop the economic and development work of the business sector and serve as a platform to enhance communication opportunities in the Eastern Province, and to qualify young national cadres to work in franchise projects.
For this part, Amin Youssef confirmed that this agreement seeks to enhance cooperation with the Asharqia Chamber, as it is one of the largest and most active chambers of commerce in the Kingdom, explaining that the agreement aims at cooperation in spreading the culture of the commercial franchise through the implementation of initiatives, programs and activities related to awareness of commercial franchise, and activating the role of both parties in achieving The Kingdom's Vision 2030 in the field of franchising.
He explained that the memorandum of understanding includes several items, including raising awareness and spreading the culture of franchising, preparing research and studies on franchising, providing advice on franchising, holding and organizing events, seminars, lectures, and workshops in the field of franchising, and organizing specialized training courses to raise administrative, legal and technical skills. In the field of commercial franchising, opening up prospects for cooperation with the authorities concerned with the commercial franchise, and forming a joint working team to activate these items.
