Al Otishan: The Chamber harnesses its expertise to enhance the performance of the business sector.
Asharqia Chamber receives and welcomes a delegation from Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Asharqia Chamber received and welcomed a delegation from the Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This is in order to enhance economic knowledge between the two Chambers, and to open channels to benefit from expertise and experiences on developing services for the business sector, social responsibility and developing customer services.
The meeting was between Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Otaishan (the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber) and Mahdi Al-Hidban Al-Yami (a member of the Board of Abha Chamber and its representative in the Council of Saudi Chambers) and the accompanying delegation in the presence of Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel (the Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber).
During this meeting, Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Otaishan (the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber) stressed the importance of the cooperation and the coordination between the Chambers of Commerce, which leads to strengthening the services provided to the Saudi business sector.
Al-Atishan pointed out that Asharqia Chamber is keen to harness its expertise as its vision based on leadership and excellence and that to take care of the interests of the business sector in the region in front of its counterparts chambers of commerce in order to contribute effectively to the economy and society.
Mahdi Al-Hidban Al-Yami, a member of the Board of the Department of Abha, expressed admiration for the quality of services and the level of performance provided by Asharqia Chamber to its subscribers. He stressed that this visit came in order to identify the mechanisms of work within Asharqia Chamber in its various departments, which always enriches the business sector in the Kingdom with many pioneering initiatives. He also pointed to the importance of developing relations and exchanging experiences in order to strengthen the business sector in the national economy.
During a working session held on the sidelines of the visit, the delegation was briefed on the work and services provided by the Chamber through the Center for Saudization and Investment, Small and Medium Enterprises and Training and Employment Centers, as well as the Center of Social Responsibilities, information center, and studies and its outputs of economic and development research in the service of entrepreneurs.
Al-Wabel and the Assistants Secretary-General accompanied the delegation of Abha Chamber in a tour between departments, centers and sectors of the Chamber, during which they briefed the work of a number of executive departments.
In addition, Al-Wabel said that this visit enhances the aspects of cooperation and the possibility of exchanging experiences, and the transfer of distinguished management experiences between the two Chambers in various sectors.
He stressed that the current period requires more knowledge as a main supporter of the aspirations and desired objectives. He pointed out that the enrichment of the business environment in the national economy begins with paving the ways of communication between different responsible institutions. At the end, he praised Abha Chamber and its role in promoting the business sector.
