Asharqia Chamber organizes a workshop on professionalism in the work environment in Qatif
On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women Empowerment Center at its branch in Al-Qatif Governorate, organized a workshop titled "Professionalism in the Workplace" as part of the Human Resources Empowerment Program. The workshop was presented by trainer Soheir bint Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, with the attendance of job seekers and those interested in career development in the governorate.
During the workshop, trainer Soheir Al-Ghamdi shed light on interactions and communication in the workplace, time management, task management, problem-solving skills, and conducting meetings interactively.
Al-Ghamdi emphasized that studies have confirmed that appropriate appearance in the workplace is key to professional and career advancement. It is one of the first indicators that give a positive impression of an employee's personality and reflects the image of the organization they work for.
She also noted that professionalism in interactions and communication in the workplace primarily depends on the speed of response by the employee, mutual respect among employees, vigilance, initiative, and continuous positive attitude.
It's worth mentioning that the Human Resources Empowerment Program by the Women Empowerment Center aims to provide support and guidance to job seekers by offering a range of training workshops and professional guidance by human resources specialists. These workshops cover topics such as passing job interviews, showcasing skills, marketing resumes, and maintaining professionalism in the workplace.
