    ​Asharqia Chamber launches the 2024 Handicrafts and Crafts Exhibition next Wednesday

    Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Social Responsibility Center, continues its preparations to launch the 2024 Handicrafts and Crafts Exhibition, which is sponsored by the Deputy Prince of the Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, next Wednesday, September 25, and will continue until September 29, 2024, from 4 pm to 10 pm, at the Dhahran Expo Exhibitions. Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Chamber, said that the exhibition, which witnesses the participation of more than 300 exhibitors from craftsmen and handicrafts, government and private agencies, and civil society organizations, aims to organize the work of these crafts, whether handicrafts or plastic artists, in order to develop their capabilities and provide them with the professional, administrative and creative skills necessary to raise the quality of their products by providing them with the opportunity to display and sell their products within the various exhibition pavilions and according to organized marketing channels that guarantee sustainable income for participants and motivate them to become entrepreneurs. Al-Rizaiza explained that the exhibition, which is witnessing a new transformation in its new version in general, stems from the developmental role of the Asharqia Chamber and achieving its goals by maximizing the impact of the community contribution of the business sector, maximizing the performance of entrepreneurship and small and emerging projects through craftsmen, handicraftsmen and productive families, through awareness programs, workshops and providing qualitative initiatives to serve this development sector. The Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition comes in its seventh edition as an initiative that cares about crafts and handicrafts from creators and those supervised by civil society organizations in the Eastern Province, and within the Chamber's plan aimed at continuing its efforts to make the owners of these crafts an effective number within the economies of the Kingdom in general and the Eastern Province in particular. Al-Rizaiza explained that the Chamber is continuing its final preparations to produce the exhibition in a way that reflects the international standards that the Chamber is known for during its organization of exhibitions and events, as the exhibition includes several sections: crafts and handicrafts, drawing and decoration, perfumes and incense, sweets, coffee, spices and drinks, fashion, clothing and women's accessories.​​
