Asharqia Chamber launches its eighth edition of the Women's Economic Forum 2024
Asharqia Chamber is preparing to launch its eighth edition of the Women's Economic Forum 2024, on November 19 and 20, under the title (Empowering Effective Leadership), which is held under the patronage of the Emir of the Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, at the Chamber's main headquarters in Dammam. According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza, the forum in its eighth edition is an extension of the positive theses that the Chamber is always keen to put forward about the importance of women's economic role and their ability to push the wheel of development forward and participate positively in the goals of Vision 2030, the burden of achieving which falls on both women and men. Al-Raziza said that the forum aims to enhance the economic role of women, by reviewing their role in economic leadership and their needs in entrepreneurship, and proposing ways to address the challenges they face, in addition to contributing to achieving their effective participation in economic life as a partner in development, noting that the forum will witness the participation of an elite group of speakers from both genders, in order to shed light on many issues that contribute to empowering women on the economic level, and highlighting the importance of their role in this context. He added that the forum is a step that complements previous successes in order to activate the role of women economically, socially and developmentally, and pointed out that previous versions of the forum organized by the chamber during the past years witnessed great interaction from the best attendees from both genders to discuss many topics, saying: (The forum is part of a series of activities and events organized by the chamber in order to care for Saudi women in the field of the business sector and work to develop their performance and advance their work). It is worth noting that the Asharqia Chamber had organized seven editions of the Women's Economic Forum, the last of which was in 2022 AD, which came under the title (Making Change), and witnessed a large attendance and turnout, and resulted in a set of recommendations aimed at advancing the economic role of women, while conveying their vision regarding the overall economic situation and their ability to participate in the economic construction process.
