Asharqia Chamber, represented in the Contracting and Endowment Committees, in cooperation with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, launched the “Houses of Merciful” initiative to provide comprehensive maintenance and provide the necessary sterilization and disinfection for Eastern Region mosques, calling on the business sector in the region and those interested to contribute to the initiative.
The chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, said that the “Houses of Merciful” initiative is a participatory initiative that provides comprehensive maintenance and sterilization for all mosques in the Eastern region, optimistic that the pandemic will soon disappear and open - God willing - in front of the worshipers, and that it seeks to inculcate the values The noble and the exaltation of the value of good deeds and its purposes in the hearts of the people of the eastern region, stressing that good is rooted and entrenched in the hearts and minds of the people of this region and all the children of the Kingdom and its rulers, who always initiate and provide support, care and follow-up to everything related to charity work in the Kingdom and abroad.
Al-Khalidi stressed the importance of solidarity and cooperation, and the provision of charitable initiatives that reflect the originality of this noble people and his eagerness to participate in everything that would support charitable work, pointing out that this initiative comes with a kind invitation from the Chamber's Contracting and Endowment Committees, offering them all thanks and appreciation for these The initiative is part of the country's efforts to limit the spread of the Corona pandemic.
For this part, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Contracting Committee of the Asharqia Chamber, Hamad bin Hammoud Al-Hammad, said that the initiative aims to provide general maintenance for the mosques of the region and prepare them for the appropriate preparation in the event that they are opened - God willing - to receive worshipers, by revealing the faults, whether those related to buildings Lighting, water, or other problems related to maintenance work, to work on repairing and restoring them, as well as conducting sterilization and thorough disinfection operations for all mosques in the region, especially in light of the Corona crisis; As sterilization is one of the factors limiting its spread.
