As a part of the facilitation program, Asharqia Chamber will host on
Thursday, November 2nd, the Saudi Electricity Company, to present its
investment opportunities to local companies and factories, as well as
the procedures for registration and qualification of its suppliers.
The meeting, organized by Asharqia Chamber for the second time in
the framework of the facilitation program, is one of the Chamber's
initiatives to support the business sector in the Eastern Province
through direct communication between the major strategic companies in
the Kingdom with business institutions, especially small and medium
institutions.
The
program of the meeting with the Saudi Electricity Company, according to
the Chairman of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan,
contains a detailed presentation on the role and efforts of the Saudi
Electricity Company in the localization of industry and services, and their investment opportunities to the business sector,
especially owners of small and medium institutions, providing a detailed explanation of the mechanisms and procedures of
registration and qualification of suppliers, adding that the meeting
will also witness the holding of direct meetings of businessmen with the
competent officials in the Saudi Electricity Company to provide
consultations and facilitate the procedures of contracting.
He pointed that «Tasheel» is accordence vision to the
Kingdom of 2030 and aims to increase the dependence on the local
component and the settlement of supporting industries and achieve
balanced development.
In April 2017, Asharqia Chamber launched its first meeting with
Tasheel with Saudi Aramco to support the investment movement in the
region by coordinating and bringing together representatives of the
company, businessmen and local investors.
