Asharqia Chamber continues its preparations for its annual reception ceremony honoring supporters of the Events Fund. The event is scheduled to take place on the evening of Tuesday, December 12, 2023, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of the Eastern Region. The ceremony will be held at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center (Expo).
According to the Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Ruzzaiza, the Chamber aims, through this annual event, to strengthen ties and relationships between the business sector and the public sector. He stated that the Chamber continues its preparations for the annual reception for businessmen and businesswomen. The event comes at a time when the Kingdom and the region are witnessing comprehensive economic development at all levels. Al-Ruzzaiza emphasized its importance as a forum that encourages interaction and fosters direct communication between officials and managers of various entities and organizations and business leaders in the region.
He noted that the annual ceremony crowns a whole year of dedicated work in supporting and assisting participants and business owners in the region. The ceremony will include honoring companies, institutions, and businesspeople who support the Events Fund, emphasizing their commitment and social responsibilities towards the Eastern Region.
Al-Ruzzaiza stated that since its establishment in 2003, the Events Fund has provided practical evidence not only of the social awareness and sense of social responsibility among private sector leaders in the Eastern Region but also of the collective action awareness of the region's residents. He highlighted that the Fund has achieved significant successes over the years by supporting various social activities, events, and occasions in the Eastern Region. He affirmed that the Fund aligns with the Chamber's solid vision that social dimensions are crucial in building a robust economic system. The Events Fund stands out as one of the Chamber's prominent initiatives to actively promote and enhance social responsibility within the business sector.
