Asharqia Chamber concludes the training program "Global Oil and Energy Industry.
Asharqia Chamber, in cooperation with the Industry and Energy Committee, concluded the training program "Global Oil and Energy Industry" on the evening of Wednesday, September 13, 2023. The program took place over two days at the Chamber's headquarters.
The program, accredited by the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, had 35 trainees from the industrial sector. It was attended by the Chairman of the Industry and Energy Committee at the Chamber, Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Sheikh, and the strategic partner of the program, Tamimi Energy Group, represented by Naif bin Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Deputy President for Public Services.
The program, which consisted of 5 training hours over two days, targeted individuals interested in the oil, gas, and renewable energy industries, as well as professionals in sectors related to the oil and gas industry. Dr. Sami bin Abdulaziz Al Nuaim delivered the program.
The program covered several key topics, including an introduction to the energy industry, its sources, and its developmental role, the origin and history of oil, its importance, extraction and development processes, refining, the future of the global oil and gas industry, challenges facing the industry, and factors influencing oil prices in global markets.
The program also discussed energy sources, their developmental significance, the importance of the global oil and gas industry, environmental challenges in the oil industry, and the largest companies in the oil and energy sector.
