Asharqia Chamber concludes 2019 Careers exhibition with more than 19 thousand visitors
Al-Khalidi thanks His Highness the prince for his patronage and support for the exhibition
The 6th edition of Careers 2019, which concluded its activities in the Eastern Chamber on Thursday 17 October 2019, recorded the visit of more than 19 thousand job seekers and students, amid the great interest of participating companies and beneficiaries.
The number of companies participating in the exhibition organized by the Chamber under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Prince of the Eastern Province on the grounds of the Dhahran International Company (Dhahran Expo). 126 companies and institutions provided 4,500 job variety, for men and women and people with special needs, and 7 government agencies, also saw the exhibition which was held over four days which started last Monday and lasted until Thursday, a high turnout of job seekers.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) participated in the exhibition as supporting partners, among the government agencies participating in the most prominent event in the field of employment in the region.
For his part, Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi thanked the Emir of the region, appreciating the patronage of His Highness the honor of the exhibition, which receives unlimited support from His Highness
Al-Khaldi pointed out that the exhibition received those wishing to visit it through the electronic platform where the requirement of pre-registration is mandatory. All his information in the CV will be already present on the electronic platform associated with all exhibitors.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel expressed his sincere thanks to His Highness the Amir of the region for his patronage and honor of the exhibition, and thanks to all companies and institutions supporting and sponsoring and participating in the exhibition.
Al-Wabel said that the exhibition received over four days, students work for two periods, the first period starts from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the second period from 4 pm to 8 pm, where the first three days were devoted to individuals and the fourth to families, pointing to the keenness Visitors to be present from the early hours of the exhibition to learn about the career opportunities presented.
Al-Wabel pointed out that the success of the exhibition in its sixth edition this year was the result of many factors, most notably the early efforts made by the Chamber, in addition to the great interaction by the public, which embodied the reality of vitality and enthusiasm experienced by the Saudi youth.
The exhibition offered 3462 jobs distributed to men according to technical specialties (1024 jobs), administrative (530), medical (236), engineering (746), sales (257) in addition to various other jobs (669).
It was also offered to women besides other jobs that can accompany their families to apply, where the number of women jobs 1079 jobs distributed by technical disciplines (25 jobs), administrative (423), medical (151), engineering (113) and sales (192) in addition to various other jobs that amount to (175 posts).
And for special need 109 jobs distributed according to technical specialties (10 positions), administrative (47), medical (2), engineering (7) and sales (17) in addition to other various jobs (26 jobs).
