Becoming the first Saudi chamber in the Middle East achieving the ISO certificates for customer service,Business Continuity, with renewing the quality management and information security validity
Al Wabel: Chamber dedication in supporting the quality practices to enrich the business sector
Asharqia Chamber made a significant national achievement by obtaining four certificates of quality management to be the first chamber of commerce in the Middle East and one of the few chambers in the world that are able to achieve this number of quality standards at the same time.
As the chamber achieved the ISO Certificate (ISO 10002:2004) for the dealing with customer complaints, and work on their aspirations, and evaluate their satisfaction with servicesoffered by the Chamber ,also ISO Certificate of Business Continuity (BC 2007-2-25999-) , which specializes in business continuity in the event of natural disasters or wars where the Chamber by obtaining this certification are eligible for the conduct an action in any location outside the building when this occurs.
Meanwhile, Chamber has showed a deserved qualification to meet the requirements for obtaining the new certificates at the level of all departments and branches and service centers, in terms of training human resources and provide all the requirements .. This has been done under the supervision of (TUVNORD) Middle East Group, and the National Company for inspection and testing LTD.
In addition, the Chamber renewed the validity of ISO certificates of quality management system (ISO 9001:2008) and Information Security Management System (ISO 27001:2005) being achieved in 2009. Making Asharqia Chamber as the first Chamber in the Middle East and one of the few chambers in the world to receive these four certificates.
In response to Asharqia Chamber Acting Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel who said that this achievement came after a series of procedures and development operations to meet the requirements of this certificate and get the customers satisfaction and achieve their future aspirations. And also to attain the world stage in applying the quality management systems.
Al Wabel referred to this achievement resulted by the chamber due to the support and follow-up by the Chamber Board of Directors , members , executives and all the staff ..
He also emphasized the chamber keen towards the application of the highest quality standards to follow the most important and prominent international practices and in this regard to enrich of the business sector in the region and kingdom in general and encourage the companies the SME's in applying these quality management systems in order to improve and develop products and services.
