• Asharqia Chamber To Start New Training Programs In Jubail

    Asharqia Chamber recently signed a contract for cooperation with a specialized company in the field of training for the implementation of a variety of training programs in a number of disciplines in the province of Jubail. The contract was signed on behalf of the Chamber by the Secretary General Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Nueim and on behalf of the Eastern Choices Company Ltd by its General Director, Khalid ibn Mohammed Al-Ammar.

    Under this contract both parties will cooperate to develop and implement training programs for men and women in the city of Jubail. There will be a variety of programs including training programs for English language, computers, administrative skills, and technical training programs, in addition to any specialized programs needed by the market.

    The training programs will vary in length. Short programs will last a maximum of three months, medium-term programs will last six months, and long term programs or diploma programs will last one or two years.

    After signing a contract, the Secretary-General of the Chamber said that the Chamber aims to provide excellent, high quality, comprehensive training consistent with its mission in the business sector in the Eastern Region to provide the latest and best services, programs and training activities to meet the need for qualified manpower. 

    Al-Nueim explained that with this step the Chamber intends to support the government's efforts in creating training programs adapted to the labor market that provide job opportunities for qualified youth. 

    Al-Nueim also noted that this package of programs is based on the desire of the Chamber to keep pace with the needs of the business sector in the region in order to increase the competencies of the labor force and improve their theoretical and practical skills and abilities based on fundamental principles of humanity the importance of the development process. 

    Asharqia Chamber's Training Center has met all the levels of training needs in accordance with the needs and requirements of the business sector. The most important objective of the Training Center has of raising the level of employee performance by holding training programs in all disciplines seeking to increase the knowledge and skills of the work force.

    The Training Center also strives to disseminate knowledge and administrative know how through the creation and implementation of various training programs and workshops of the highest quality. The Center also seeks to raise the level of contribution of the national work force in the labor market by supporting efforts and programs that employ Saudis in the private sector.
