Adnan ibn Abdullah Al-Nueim, the Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber, received the 2008 Award for the Best Work Environment in the Kingdom. His Royal Highness Prince Faisal ibn Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz, the Chairman of the Administrative Board for the Saudi Research and Marketing Group, presented the award in Riyadh recently.
The award was organized by Team One Consulting Firm, and a large number of companies participated in the competition run by Iqtisadia Newspaper. The most imortant qualities measured in the competion were the levels of employee satisfaction, and the quality of Human Resources Development. The award is the first of its kind in the Saudi private sector.
Adnan ibn Abdullah Al-Nueim said that the award challenges the Chamber to work harder, and it increases its reponsibility to keep improving performance.
Al-Nueim added that winning this award solidifies the place of the Chamber amongst other national organizations in terms of training and preparing people to be the best they can possibly be.
Al-Nueim praised the positive and ambitious environment that employees of the Chamber enjoy saying that it is a major contributing factor to the many successes of the Chamber. He thanked the employees saying: "This award is, after the success granted to us by Allah, because of what all of you have done."
