Asharqia Chamber organized a gala to mark the distribution of loan checks to 200 beneficiaries of the "Door To Wealth Program" and the "Abdul Latif Jameel Community Service Program" developed for those who want to be self-employmed and own their own businesses.
Secretary-General Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Nueim said there are a number of programs offered that suit the needs of youth who want to be self-employmed. Al-Nueim mentioned some of his own outstanding contributions to vital national projects related to the social and economic priorities of the country.
Al-Nueim said that supporting small businesses is an important priority because it provides new jobs. He also mentioned the role of the Chamber in providing financing for small businesses, as well as help with marketing and even technology through the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Center. The Center provides appropriate counseling for each business owner.
