An Extensive Workshop to Discuss some Labor Law Articles in the Kingdom
Held at Asharqia Chamber in Dammam
Asharqia Chamber organized yesterday morning, Sunday 15\12\2012, an extensive workshop to discuss some proposed amendments to the articles of Labor Law. The workshop was attended by heads and members of specialized committees in the Chamber.
It aimed to understand the views of private sector and convey them to the concerned departments in the Ministry.
The workshop was held at Sheikh Hamad Al Gosaibi Hall at the main building in Dammam and was run by Head of Human Resources Committee Saleh AlHumidan and Head of Lawyers Committee Khalid AlSaleh.
The workshop witnessed an extensive discussion on some of the Law's articles and proposals to sum up, or be more detailed in some articles in addition to canceling and replacing some of them.
The attendees discussed some articles of the Law thoroughly including articles, definitions, powers, provisions and procedures.
The workshop was held in response to the Council of Saudi Chambers letter which recommended holding an extensive workshop to discuss some of the Law's articles, in preparation for submission to the Ministry for the purpose of development.
