Allocation of 48 million square meters for Eastern industrial Authority

Asharqia Chamber Chairman,Mr. Abdulrhman Bin Rashid Al Rashid indicated that establishing of the third industrial city in the Eastern region is such an important step in the process of industrial development of the region, considering this move as a new message to the Saudi business sector in general and institutional investors in particular.
AlRashid added that "Saudi Aramco" move in releasing 48 million squaremeters for the industrial cities in the Eastern Province involved positive indicators, stressing out that the establishment of the third industrial city in this new location and the transferring of Dammam first industrial city to this site is such a high influence on the industrial sector in the Eastern Province.
AlRashid appreciated the step by His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Muteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipality Affairs in in supporting the industrial sector in the Kingdom in general, and enhancing the industrialist's performance in the eastern region in particular.
He also praised His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Eastern region for his leading role in sponsoring the private sector of the Eastern Province.
AlRashid also thanked the Secretary of the Eastern Region .Eng. Daifallah bin Ayesh Al-Otaibi for his role in adopting the recommendations of the committee, he also thanked CEO of "Saudi Aramco" ,Mr.Khalid Al-Faleh, adding that Saudi Aramco move in releasing of 48 million square meters for the industrial cities in the Eastern region has involved on a positive indicators which reflects the high obligation in promoting options and strategic priorities specially in the support of the industrial investment.
For his part, Mr.Suliman AlJeshi,Board Member of the industrial committee has praised this development, and the efforts made by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs represented by His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Muteb bin Abdulaziz and the Municipality of Eastern region, Saudi Aramco and the industrial Authority.
Furthermore;AlJeshi has also praised the recommendations of the committee set up by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz to study the list of sites and activities harmful to the environment, noting that the recommendation of the establishing the new industrial and the transfer of Dammam First Industrial City to the "new industrial city "will put the Eastern region on the global industrial record, and industrialists in front of their responsibilities.
He added that the overall objectives of the Ninth Development Plan (31-1432 H / 35-1436 H), which was approved a few months ago by the Council of Ministers chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, has reflected a big ambitious to the Council of Ministers led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the development performance of the private sector, also reflected the confidence of the leadership in the industrial sector.
AlJeshi invited the business sector in particular to undergo the challenges on the national agenda, and promoting the responsibilities of the national industrial strategy.
