The Eastern Province Events Fund continues its preparations to organize the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, which will be held on the first day of the month of Shawwal, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef, the prince of the Eastern Region.
The Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, said that the work at the ceremony - which begins to receive its audience at 7 pm - and the entertainment program accompanying it during the days of Eid goes according to the plan. He pointed out that everyone is working to implement the general perception of the event and the associated events, which reflects the high level of preparations.
Al-Wabel said that the chamber is working to prepare the Green Arena to for the ceremony, which is supervised by His Highness the prince of the region, and provides a special program that includes several interesting events. It includes the national operetta (strength and development), Saudi Arabia Ardah, laser show, Russian acrobatics, the play of Alice in Wonderland, and the performances of "Cawapeace."
Al-Wabel stressed that the working team is holding regular meetings in order to discuss all plans that to be implemented for organizing the celebration and the accompanying activities that will last for seven days.
Al-Rashid Mall and Darin Mall host a variety of family events from the 2nd day of Eid until the 7th day of Eid. The Green Arena continues until the 7th day of Eid.
"The team is keen to ensure that all plans are implemented to the highest standards, as they review- during their meetings - all details related to the work plan of the participating bodies and their preparations in the implementation of its tasks and role in the organization of the ceremony," Alwabel said.
He added that they also discuss the plans of the security agencies to cover the main concert sites and the associated events in order to achieve the desired success from all organizational aspects.
Al-Wabel explained that the events accompanying the main concert were designed for an executive program that provides entertainment and benefit for all, and takes into account all social groups such as youth, children and families, as well as people with special needs.
He referred to the immediate prizes that would be distributed daily for the attendees.
Al-Wabel said that this year's event fund is offering 100 different and varied activities, which are being implemented by a large number of specialists who are fluent in the language of communication with different social groups and are able to communicate with their wishes. He noted that a number of commercial malls would host various events too.
Al-Wabil also pointed out that the people and visitors to the Eastern Region started early in interacting with the preparations of the chamber, where they received their platforms on social networking sites inquiries about the official ceremony which is held from the 1st the days of Eid in addition to the various events in the Shopping Malls.
