During a meeting that was held on Monday 30/4/2018, the Health Committee of Asharqia Chamber chose Saud Al-Thamiri, as its Chairman, and Fares Al-Yahya as a Vice-Chairman.
Al-Thamiri won 15 votes against 5 votes for Ibrahim Bu Khamseen and one vote for Ibrahim Al-Tabash in the election of the Chairman of the Committee. While the Vice-Chairman Firas Al-Yahi won 18 votes, compared to 3 votes for his rival Nazir Al-Jishi.
The President of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, spoke in a welcoming speech to the members of the Committee and urged them to do more in this area. He pointed to a number of major challenges and opportunities facing the business sector in the future.
