The launch of the first business committees in the new session.
The meetings of the first business committees of Asharqia Chamber were launched on Sunday, April 22, 2018, as the logistics committee includes representatives of four economic sectors, maritime transport, road transport, customs clearance, equipment leasing and trading.
The committee met in a prominent presence of representatives of the sectors mentioned members of the committee. It elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Bandar al-Jabri, as a Chairman of the Committee, and Mohammed al-Anzi as a Vice-President.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem Al-Khalidi, opened the meeting with a speech welcoming the attendees. He pointed to the development witnessed by the work of the committees and the new structure adopted by the Board of Directors that stimulate the work of the committees in order to serve the business sector more. He emphasized that the committees are the cores of the economic activity carried out by the Chamber. It is their responsibility to keep pace with the strategic tasks entrusted to the business sector within the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
He stressed that the logistics committee is the first committee to be launched by the business committees of Asharqia Chamber in the current board of directors. It underlines the importance of this sector and the vitality of the objectives adopted and carried to serve the general objectives of the private sector.
Bandar bin Rafi al-Jabri, a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber and the elected chairman of the committee, said, "We- all of the committees sector- seek to complement each other through the expertise of the Commission and to pursue the general objectives and everything that serves our national economy."
