In a workshop hosted by Asharqia Chamber
The cooperative health insurance council
has confirmed the tenth of January in 2017 the next date for the application of
the third stage of the unified insurance policy in the private sector companies
with number of workers that reaches (2549 workers), while the fourth and last stage which will
begin next April for companies with number
of workers that reaches (1 25
workers ).
Head
of Partners relations council Muhammed bin Abdullah Al Shaghrud explained in
the workshop held Tuesday in the headquarters
of the Chamber
in Dammam titled (the third stage of the unified insurance policy),
stressing the obligation of every company of the sector companies to unify the
policy and to be with one company that begins using it in a specific time and ends in a
specific time.
He
added that among the goals of the unified
policy is to eliminate the fake insurance,
of multiple policies to multiple
companies appear in different times of the process of causing confusion for
insurers and beneficiaries.
He
said that the unified policy program includes preventing the duplication of companies in dealing with more
than one insurance company, noting that the Council will reject every offers
from companies to include their workers in more than one insurance company.
The
number of insured workers and their families registered in the Council of 12
million, Thus the market is big and requires further action to give everyone
his right.
He
pointed that the system provides insurance for each worker in the private
sector with the members of his family also included in the system.
