Asharqia Chamber held yesterday
evening, Wednesday, December 7 in 2016, an expanded meeting for businessmen in Khafji
meeting, attended by a big number of businessmen from the province.
The
head of the board of directors of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan
explained in the meeting, how keen
Asharqia Chamber is to hold this meeting
every year, to enhance ties and to achieve more direct communication with its participants,
promising to achieve the aspirations of the businessmen to maintain increasing
their roles within
the national economy system.
Al
Ataishan said that the Chamber paid a great attention to its branches in
Khafji, Jubail, Qatif, believing in the importance of presence near its participants
on the one hand, and the diversity and the readiness of the provincial
investment on the other hand, making them promising provinces in the journey of
the Kingdom towards the vision 2030, pointing
to the leading investment opportunities Khafji in various commercial and
industrial sectors and services, which can be doubled in the participation in the economic progress like all
regions and provinces, which leads us to greater coordination and communication
with you and with all parties in the province, moving to a better economic and
investment environment, to achieve the hopes of the future.
Al
Ataishan explained that this meeting is to stand on the investment
opportunities in the province, and to know their prospects, and spot the
challenges of its launching, and ways to deal with them, praising in the
conclusion of his speech the support of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin
Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Prince of Eastern Province, to Asharqia Chamber and its
branches in all provinces.
For
his part, the head of Khafji businessmen
Branch Council, Mohammed Suleiman Al Balawi, stressed
the importance of such meetings as it contributes to deepening the participation
and achievement of positive interaction to discuss the challenges and suggesting
solutions in accordance with the 2030 vision, pointing to what Khafji possesses
of natural resources and promising investment opportunities that may cause a
major leap in economic progress in and around the province.
Al
Balaw said ( Khafji branch in the current year, to diversify its activities and
events in accordence with the kingdom vision towards the future, it was keen that
the monthly meetings include discussion of topics of the sustainability of the
business, as well as developments in the investment environment in the province
developmental dimensions, also the launch of a
series of visits and training programs, events and lectures aiming at improving
facilities, which, all in the service of serving participants).
Balawi
noted that the Business Council emerges from the fact that direct communication
is the first step of success, and it was the first council interest to
communicate and interact with the participants to find their needs and
expectations regarding the business environment in the province, the Council
has managed in coordination with various authorities, to makes Asharqia Chamber

Khafji destination for pioneering businessmen in the province.
Secretary
General of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman Al Wabel expressed his optimism about the amount
and growth of the business in the province in the coming period, especially
with the move to the new building, saying that he will be accompanied by growth
in the work of the Branch and will be accompanied with an increase in the
number of staff with that growth.
Al
Wabel said that the new building is located on King Faisal Road and consists of
three floors and includes a big number of meeting halls and a special customer
services and training, in addition to a number of administrative offices etc.
He
concluded the meeting by expanding the debate and presenting suggestions on a
variety of topics, such as increasing the number of delegations visiting
Khafji, and how to exploit of the border
strategic location of the city of Al Khafji by establishing a city of
logistical services serving Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and other topics related
to increasing the business growth in the province.
