Al Amir_the number of shipping lines in Jubail Commercial Port raises to 12 lines
General Manager of Jubail Commercial Port Captain Fahd bin Ahmed Al Amir stressed the importance of the role of the port in supporting the commercial traffic to and from the eastern region through Jubail province, which includes the major national factories..explaining that the port is a sea port for major national and international companies.
This was during meeting (Tuesday, 26 / April / 2016) the Chairman and members of business council of Asharqia Chamber branch in Jubail During the meeting there was a visual presentation about the port and its history story since its opening in 1397H until all port facilities were completed in 1400H and the available supplies.
Amir said that in order to raise the level of performance in the port, the department has adopted a mechanism of work through a single window, in order to speed completing the transaction making it easier for businessmen to their transaction as quickly as possible where there are all governmental departments in one place.
Al Amir reviewd all companies using the Jubail commercial port that are specialized in exporting, as well as companies that provide logistic services, and the operating companies to the port facilities and viewing the growth in the containers size and increasing the shipping lines to the port to 12 shipping line.
The delegation has performed a toure in the customs squares located on the Jubail Commercial Port and viewing the sidewalks and the process of shipping work and the distribution on ships and visiting the operating locations by companies that are interested in exporting through Jubail Commercial Port.
The delegation also moved to the watchtower of ships movement .. listening to a detailed explanation of the work of the maritime vessels inbound and outbound of the port ,the dock mechanism ,starting the shipping and distribution .
For his part, the Chairman of the Council of Chamber's branch in Jubail Mishari bin Murshid Al Oqaili has praised the work efforts in the port and the work of the continuous modernization and future expansions.
