Asharqia Chamber will host a workshop on the technical regulation of
gas powered appliances and their tools, and will be organized by
the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality at 10
am on Thursday, December 7th at the Chamber's headquarters.
The workshop reviews several goals, the most important of which
are: reducing costs to the consumer, and determining conformity
assessment procedures that suppliers must adhere to to ensure conformity
of these products and to maintain the safety and health of consumers
and the environment.
The workshop includes an explanation of the technical
regulations, the type of conformity required and the products covered by
the regulations, as well as the procedures of the violation in case of
violation of any of the regulations.
The workshop is held for men and women, in Al Gosaibi the first floor for men and Al Jazeera the
ground floor - for women.
