A Specialist: Investing in the fashion sector promotes national identity
The Consultant for Small and Medium Enterprises, Member of the Local Council of Jubail Wissam Al-Bassam Governorate stressed the importance of enabling and developing the fashion sector and achieving its prosperity to be sustainable, inclusive, and integrated at various stages of the value chain, and to enhance local talent, expertise and competencies. This is achieved through a culture aimed at promoting national heritage and identity, and the importance of this.
This came during a lecture entitled "Start Your Business in the Fashion Sector", held on the evening of Tuesday 21 June 2022, emphasizing the need to invest in this sector that contributes to the promotion of Saudi fashion, especially during events such as National Day, Foundation Day and others.
She stressed the need to prepare an action plan for the sector's entry, including how to generate revenue and profit. Identify which products or services the entrepreneur plans to manufacture and market, and how this can be done, including expenses in this regard.
Any step in that regard involved the provision of certain requirements, perhaps most notably the municipal requirements for sewing shops, which involved certain procedures to ensure the quality of the product and its operating mechanism.
