48 national companies (that are located in the Eastern Region) offered their services to people with special needs on career day, which entitled (high ambitions for the labor market).
This was organized by Prince Mohammed bin Fahad Foundation for Human Development in cooperation with Asharqia Chamber (represented by the Employment Center) on Wednesday (21/3/2018) at the institution's headquarter in Dammam.
The showroom was attended by a large number of job seekers with special needs, graduates, women and men, who were interviewed. CVs were taken from job seekers, and the companies presented their job offers. The exhibition continued until 8:00 pm. Posters and brochures were distributed for this purpose, as companies were competing to attract national elements with special needs.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim Al-Khalidi, and the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in the Eastern Region, Abdulrahman Al-Muqbel, the Chairman of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University and the Secretary General of the Prince Mohammed bin Fahad Foundation for Human Development, Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al Ansari, and the Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman Al-Wabel.
Two lectures were held on the sidelines of the exhibition. The first was entitled, "nothing impossible with the will" and presented by Ammar Bouqas. The second one was entitled, "Integrated motivation" and presented by Mohammed bin Abdullah Sharif. These lectures focused on the issue of Saudization and attracting national talent, especially the category of people with special needs.
It is noteworthy that this event was the first of events that are organized by Asharqia Chamber for this category.
