Asharqia Chamber represented by its branch in Al Khafji holding a number of events, activities and meetings that highlight the
most important economic issues and the most important challenges facing
the business sector in the province during the first half of 2017.
The
Chamber discusses most of the topics that interest to the business
sector. It also organized several training programs that help the
beneficiaries of the youth in their jobs, as well as programs for those wishing to start their business, as well as
business meetings, workshops, lectures and studies. Business
activities, social visits, trade delegation visits and exhibitions of
various catalogs, from its interest in branches in the region
in Qatif, Jubail and Khafji. The
Chamber is keen to establish various types of activities and activities
to stay in constant contact with businessmen and businessmen in the
province and discuss their issues and interests, believing in the
importance of these provinces because of the strategic locations located
on the coast of the Arabian Gulf and proximity to international
shipping paths, in addition to proximity to energy sources and raw materials for the petroleum and petrochemical industries and
other important industries that contribute to support and develop the
economy of the Eastern Region and our precious kingdom.
For
his part, Chairman of the Business Council in the branch Muhammed bin
Sulaiman Al Balawi said that the branch hosted the ninth meeting of the
Khafji branch council in February 2017. Five meetings of the monthly
meetings were held (January, February, March, April, May) The 8 meetings will be held on Tuesday, the fourth week of each month
after Maghrib, during which one of the officials in the province is
hosted to discuss issues of interest to the business sector, in addition
to the annual Ramadan meeting of businessmen organized during last May.
On the level of social responsibility, the Chamber organized an
evening titled "Corporate Responsibility for Excellence" during the month of March, hosted Dr. Saleh
Al Hamouri.
In the same month, the branch organized a lecture titled "Innovation in the Development of Small and Medium Institutions"
presented by the lecturer Abdullah Al Daweesh.
Among
the activities included in the agenda of the branch, the business
council headed by Al Balawi and his deputy, Fahdi bin Obaid Al Quwaiy,
visited Al Khafji in January. The Council also visited the head
of Ras Mashaab military port Brigadier Saleh bin Saeed Al Ghamdi in the
same month, Director
of Human Resources Fund in Khafaji Nasser Al Qahtani. in March, the
Branch hosted the Director of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment
in Khafji Hamoud Al Ruwaili. All of these activities were followed by important topics that contribute to the development of the work
mechanism and open the way for promoting investments in Khafji.
