112 companies benefited from training packages of the Chamber
28 sessions done by the training center during the current year
Asharqia Chamber's training center has launched 28 training sessions during the last months of 2010, where 349 trainees and 112 companies from the private sector.
The Chamber Acting Secretary-General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel said that the Centre has launched two training sessions during the mentioned period for the oil and gas sector, and 7 other sessions for the real estate management sector, and two for the financial and insurance sector, and a training course for the customs sector, and 9 training courses for leadership and management skills, and 4 training courses for the training and rehabilitation of fresh graduates, in addition to 3 public lectures with a number of 921 attendants.
Furthermore, Al Wabel explained that the center represented by Asharqia Chamber had signed an agreement for cooperation with the branch of Human Resources Development Fund "HADAF" during the past few months in the Eastern region to train 240 trainees through the program of rehabilitation specialists and human resources which is implemented by Asharqia Chamber, the Centre has also signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria, and another agreement for cooperation with the real estate Center as one of those specialized programs for organizing more joint training events.
According to Al Wabel,the Center has also done 6360 exams by the male and females testing center on various academictests provided by the Testing Center in collaboration with the International Prometric Center .
Training Center will continue doing its activities in providing training courses in the last quarter of this year, and will provide a new programs for the first time in the Eastern Province such the "Basics of Corporate Governance".
