On Thursday 25/4/2019, Asharqia Chamber and in cooperation with the General Authority for Zakat and Income will organize a workshop on "Executive Regulations for Zakat Collection" that the Ministry of Finance intends to implement early next year 2020 during which the list will be presented and explain many of the details.
The workshop, which will be held at the headquarter of the Chamber's in Dammam, will discuss the list in its updated form after a number of organizational amendments that have been made to it.
These include improving the Zakat collection procedures to achieve the highest degree of commitment and efficiency, increasing transparency and clarity, which will reflect on attracting investment, increasing investor confidence, as well as the Zakat treatment of properties under development and Zakat and financing activities.
This workshop is part of the Authority's efforts to respond to the inquiries of those responsible for Zakat.
