"The Forum of Waqf practices 2018," which will be organized by Asharqia Chamber in April, is going to be held under the patronage of the Prince of Asharqia.
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, the Prince of the Eastern Region, patronizes the Awqaf Forum 2018. This forum would be organized by Asharqia Chamber, which represented by the Awqaf Committee, and under the slogan "Best Waqf Practices." It would be on Sunday, 1 April 2018.
The forum aims to focus on the practical aspect of upgrading the practices of local endowments, and to increase their effectiveness and positive impacts through the presentation of the practices of the endowments globally and locally. It also aims to draw the attention of businessmen and businesswomen to the importance of organizational endowments as well as individual or institutional grants programs. In addition, it targets to provide presentation of many local and international endowment practices that show the great impact of waqf on business and family inheritance.
The forum seeks to provide best practices in the areas of establishing successful and sustainable family endowments, managing and investing family endowments effectively, maximizing social return on investment (SROI) through family waqfs, and overcoming the potential challenges of the endowment sector.
The Kingdom is currently turning into a new era in which the booming and diverse economy is emerging through the vision of the Kingdom of 2030. The kingdom's vision of 20130 emphasizes the role of the private sector in building the social investment market through endowments.
This forum comes at the right time to provide best practices in the establishment, management, sustainability, and investment of endowments by reviewing a number of live experiences spread throughout the world.
