"Teled" showcases packages of solutions supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
The "Teled" program at Saudi Aramco showcases discounted solution packages to support small and medium-sized enterprises. It was presented during the "Pioneers Dialogue" program, one of the initiatives of the Business Youth Council at the Asharqia Chamber, to introduce initiatives provided by the "Teled" program affiliated with Saudi Aramco. The Executive Department Head of the program, Engineer Mohammed bin Rashid Al Odail, stated during the meeting held by the Asharqia Chamber, represented by the council on the evening of Wednesday, February 14, 2024, and chaired by Saad bin Khalid Al Mujal, that the National Development Initiative aims to support investments of various sizes by translating innovative and viable ideas into business opportunities or small and medium-sized projects capable of sustainability and growth to become major national companies. He further explained that the initiative targets four strategic areas: manufacturing, industry, digital services, and sustainability.
Regarding the "Teled" program, Al Odail mentioned that the program works on creating new investment opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), fostering their growth and sustainability. It aims to build robust establishments around the Saudi Aramco ecosystem, create job opportunities, and support the Kingdom's vision to raise the contribution of the SME sector to the GDP to reach 35% by the year 2030.
Al Odail further stated that the program places significant emphasis on addressing six major challenges facing SMEs, which include developing and implementing strategies, attracting and retaining talents, performance linked to databases, accessing markets, accessing financial solutions, and the business environment.
"Teled" offers several supportive programs for the establishment, growth, and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It works on building national capacities and qualified competencies by linking job opportunities and the workforce in collaboration with national training centers. It also focuses on building professional capacities, developing specialized programs, and creating quality opportunities for independent talents. Furthermore, the program provides training programs and best practices.
Moreover, the program supports entrepreneurs in various fields and investment opportunities by creating investment opportunities in strategic sectors, attracting and localizing investment opportunities in the SME sector, and supporting SMEs during the investment phase by developing investment plans and enabling the creation of SMEs around large companies' ecosystems.
Additionally, it offers financial solutions in collaboration with partners from the public and private sectors by facilitating access to the best digital financial solutions and enabling access to accelerated financing in collaboration with Teled program partners. It also connects venture capital with private equity funds.
The program provides a business platform to facilitate the access of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to business markets and offers discounted solution packages that support operational efficiency and profitability. It also facilitates access to a large base of Teled partners, connects SMEs with major companies to facilitate access to larger markets, and provides a platform to enhance communication, exchange experiences, and knowledge among SMEs.
Al Odail pointed out the main outputs of the Teled program during the year since its launch in October 2022. It succeeded in creating and enabling various investment opportunities, supporting over 400 establishments with various workshops and training programs, launching the "MOD" platform, developing the national e-commerce platform, and launching programs to support zero-carbon neutrality.
