Through a workshop hosted by the East Chamber
"Saudi Standards, Metrology" offer services for protection of the environment
Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality organization organize in collaboration with the East Chamber on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 3 Rajab 1436 AH workshop under the theme "lasting partnership for sustainable environment", at the Chamber Dammam headquarters, under the patronage of the organization chairman, Dr. Saad bin Othman Alqasabi.
The Eastern Province branch General Director Tams bin Ali Al Hammadi said that this workshop reflects the Commission's attention and its vital role in the development of standardization and quality activities, to improve the level of services provided in various fields, including the field of the environment, which will be most of the aspects covered in this workshop to create a sustainable environment and to provides requirementsprotection of the environment in accordance with international standards and standards related to Saudi Arabia in this regard.
Al Hammadi added that the workshop will review a number of related themes such as environmental management system ISO 14001, to shed light on Saudi standards relating to the environment and recycling products, in addition to the review of Quality Management System ISO 9001, and the experience of one of the winning companies on the ISO certification in accordance with thisthe system
He noted that the workshop comes in the framework of supporting the bonds of cooperation and the strengthening of institutional partnership with the private sector, and praised the vital role the East Chamber play in supporting all activities that benefit the community.
For his part, Secretary General of the East Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Alwabil said that the workshop will deal with the role of the private sector and social responsibility towards the environment and sustainable waste management and electronic medical, industrial, and how to get rid of them, pointing out that the workshop is aimed for all those interested and specialists from all government and private sectors in order to participate effectively and enrichtheopen discussion session, which will conclude the workshop.
He added that the workshop will see an open meeting between His Excellency the organization chairman D.saad Alqasabi and interested businessmen to discuss the activities and services provided by the Authority, including the environment quality and protection.
